inniAccounts wins Queen’s Award for Innovation

We’re absolutely overjoyed to learn that today inniAccounts has been awarded a Queen’s Award for Enterprise, for our innovative online accountancy service. Cheers!

The Queen’s Award for Enterprise is undoubtedly the most prestigious business award in the UK, and represents the highest accolade for business success. You can no doubt imagine how excited we are to be named an award winner.

We’ve been specifically recognised for our innovation in online accountancy, whereby our clients can track their tax and finances in real-time, minute by minute, without fearing an unexpected tax bill. However, just being innovative isn’t enough to clinch the award: we’ve also demonstrated that our service is successful, commercially stable and sustainable.

The award winners were put forward by David Cameron, and here’s what Businesses Secretary Sajid Javid said this morning:

“The Queen’s Awards are a great way of celebrating the best of British business. Whether you’re a disruptive start-up making life easier for your customers or a large company with a blockbuster product, these awards recognise your contribution to enterprise.

We are a country full of exciting and innovative businesses that deserve to be celebrated. I’d like to commend all the winners for their hard work in creating jobs for people and driving our growing economy.”

Everyone here at inniAccounts is thrilled to bits to receive this award, and I’d personally like to thank both the team for their dedication and hard work, and also our clients for supporting us over the last 10 years. Our software and service is constantly evolving based on feedback, and the great relationship our team has with our clients has underpinned winning the Queen’s Award for Enterprise Innovation.

Finally, and perhaps most excitingly of all, inniAccounts will be visited by the Queen’s Lord Lieutenant later in the year, after which some of the inniAccounts team members will travel to Buckingham Palace to meet the Queen herself – cheers to a royal knees-up!
