You may have received a letter from HMRC introducing RTI. RTI means that from April 2013 we must tell HMRC about your income tax and National Insurance deductions each time you create a payslip, rather than waiting until the end of the year. This information will be sent to HMRC electronically, directly from the inniAccounts […]
During the early hours of Saturday 2nd October inniAccounts will be off-line for essential maintenance. We expect this work to be completed by 8am at the latest. During this time you won’t be able to access the inniAccounts website, our online accounting service or our help centre.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding.
Traditionally, reporting is regarded as neither the most glamorous nor the most fascinating aspect of running a business, but it’s pretty important when it comes to keeping track of your financial information. At inniAccounts we don’t like to think of it as a necessary evil so we’ve launched a mini-crusade to make reporting sexy – or if not sexy, at least interesting, informative and easy to access – by creating our brand new Report Centre, which is now available to all Premium and Plus customers.
In our third post exploring inniAccounts’ new features we’re taking a look at inniAccounts Mobile: our brand new service for iPhone and Android users.
After the unbearable expectations set by our last blog post, we’re really quite excited to be able to give your a run down of the first of our brand new features today. So, without further ado, please allow us to introduce…(fanfare of trumpets)… LiveCash!
Over the past few months the hard working members of the inniAccounts development team have been beavering away to bring you three brand new features, all designed to make it even easier to stay on top of your finances. After all the hard work we’re really quite excited to be able to launch all three features today.
We’ve been busy over the last few weeks working on several new features for inniAccounts. I’ll be the first to admit they’re not terribly exciting, however they’re pretty essential updates for contractors and freelancers who prefer to be as ‘hands-on’ as possible with their accounts.
Here’s a quick run down of the new features:
Our guide to identifying this sought-after breed
It recently came to the attention of the inniAccounts statisticians that, every month, 4000 people conduct Google searches for online accounting services using the term ‘contractor accountant’. This seems fair enough: you’re a contractor, you need an accountant…typing the two words makes perfect sense, and as a result the internet is full of sites containing ‘contractor accountant directories’ or similar such tools.
But descriptions of what a contractor accountant actually does seem to be thinner on the ground. So what the hell do we do? What can you expect from us? Why choose a contractor accountant over a non-prefixed accountant? Do we have special powers, like superheroes (sadly, in my case, the answer to the final question is no, but I can help with the others)?
We’re excited to announce that, to celebrate our recent makeover, we’re offering our unique accounting software free for life. If you sign up to inniAccounts before 31st January 2010 (extended until 31st March 2010), you’ll have free access to inniAccounts Lite for as long as you’re with us. That’s a saving of £7.95 per month.
As you’ve probably noticed, we’ve had a makeover. Our new look is the first of a number of exciting developments; we’ve also refreshed our website, and launched a brand new help centre. The help centre offers step by step user guides, helpful hints and new discussion forums which allow you to chat with the inniAccounts team and with fellow contractors and freelancers.
