Day to Day
Our software will take care of this for you. Your personal LiveCash report shows you exactly how much money has been kept to one side to meet your liabilities. When you pay out company profits via dividends you are shown how much profit and cash your company has available, so you can be confident that you have enough money set aside to meet your tax liabilities.
You’ll need to take care of your time tracking, expense and mileage records, invoicing and bookkeeping – using our software to make these tasks as quick and easy as possible. You can also use our software to process and pay your PAYE taxes, again saving time and energy.
We really encourage our customers to make contact regularly with us, and you can use a number of routes: our secure online Help Centre offers a prompt answer to every day queries via e-mail. We’ve invested in the best technology set up the Help Centre, and it allows you to view a full archive of historic communication with us so you don’t need to rummage through old emails.
If you have a more specific or urgent query, or you prefer to chat than to type, you can call us at any time as well.
Getting Started
It really doesn’t matter what time of year you switch, as we’ll liaise with your previous accountants to gather the required information for us to setup your business in our software.
If you’re currently working on a contract within IR35 please contact us directly for advice.
For a small monthly fee we can manage your statuary obligations and act as a registered office. Our company secretarial service includes:
- Processing of all your statutory mail including correspondence from HMRC, Companies House and Government Gateway
- Reducing junk mail by preventing your residential address appearing on the Companies House company register
- Overcoming residential property rental agreements or deeds which prevent the use of the property for business purposes
- Filing of your annual Company Return (inclusive of filing fee)
- Amendments to statutory records including updates to officers of the company, shareholdings and the accounting reference date
Yes, we welcome customers with existing limited companies and, if you decide to make the switch, we’ll take care of contacting your existing accountant to migrate your company, accounts and personal information.
Yes – inniAccounts is designed exclusively for contractors and freelancers who choose to operate using a limited company. We believe that running a limited company is almost always the best choice for small businesses, contractors, consultants and high income freelancers.
Our Accountancy Service
With our Help Centre, user guides, knowledge base and email & phone support from our team we’re confident you’ll have all the support you need. We do however operate a fair use poilcy to ensure that we can give the best support to all our clients. Should you require more complex support then we may discuss with you an additional service charge.
Each year every company must submit an annual return, also known as a 363, to confirm the details of the company shareholders. The company secretary usually takes care of this however if you choose our company secretarial service we will file this return on your behalf.
We can complete your self assessment for a small additional fee of £75 per person, however there may be additional fees for more complicated returns – for example income from rental properties or capital gains.
inniAccounts is none of these things – we provide support, software and accounting for contractors and freelancers who have chosen to run their own limited company, and this is also the way we operate. Composites and MSCs (managed service companies) are no longer legal in the UK and umbrella companies offer higher risk and lower tax efficiency than limited company operation.
We consider your company data to belong only to you, therefore we have created a comprehensive Report Centre where you can customise and download all your data in various formats, whenever you need it. This provides additional peace of mind that we’ll never withhold information that belongs to you.
